Doors Open: 5pm  (Most raffles/games begin, cash bar open, silent auction open)

Meal:  approximately 7pm    (Grilled Ribeyes, cheesy potatoes, green beans, salad, dinner roll and dessert)

Silent Auction end: 7:45pm

Live Auction begins: 8pm

2023 Annual Banquet

2023 Fundraising banquet is set for Saturday, March 25, 2023. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. at the Neligh American Legion. Each year Antelope County's Golden Prairie PF Chapter has an annual fundraising banquet to get fellow pheasant hunters and those in the community to gather together in support of our pheasants. Raising money to help the efforts of conservation and habitat that is related to our pheasant population is our goal. As well, educating those new members and or youth in why our Pheasants Forever Chapter is important to the sport in our communities. We hope that we can count on your support at our annual banquet again this year. Hunter Safety Courses

Neligh Area Youth Hunter Safety Classes are scheduled for each fall a few weeks prior to youth peasant season opening day.  Class times are generally 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. both days.  Students will go the shooting range on the final day.  The class is FREE and is sponsored by the Nebraska Game and Parks, Neligh Young Men's Club and the Antelope County Shooters Club.  All Youth must be age 11 by September 24th to get their certification.  The class is open to all ages 11+ including adults.

While we all like to have fun in the field and chase pheasants for miles, safety is one of the most important aspects. We promote and encourage hunter safety in the field.

Hunter education classes show both youth and adults the proper way to hold, maneuver and practice proper gun care. We at Nebraska believe it is essential for kids to become familiar with gun operation and be comfortable with handling their firearm.

Annual Youth Mentor Hunt

The future of our sport rely on the efforts of those generations younger than us. To help promote those efforts and educate youth in the importance of what Pheasants Forever, we host an annual hunt, showcasing why our organization is important, but at the same time having some fun with our leaders of tomorrow.

Our YMH participants are the most recent graduates of the Neligh Hunter's Safety & Education Course held earlier in the year. Contact Wade Pitzer at 402-929-0550 to see about getting registered for the next available class.

Our Annual Youth Mentor Hunt is generally held the week before opening weekend in October.
