Annual Youth Mentor Hunt
The future of our sport rely on the efforts of those generations younger than us. To help promote those efforts and educate youth in the importance of what Pheasants Forever, we host an annual hunt, showcasing why our organization is important, but at the same time having some fun with our leaders of tomorrow.
Our annual youth hunt is held each year in October the weekend before opening pheasant season for adults. We have 2 sessions, a morning and afternoon session. Our YMH participants are the most recent graduates of the Neligh Hunter's Safety & Education Course held earlier in the year. Contact the Nebraska Game & Parks to get registered for the Hunter's Safety Course each year.
Our Annual Youth Mentor Hunt is generally held the week before opening weekend in October.
